Dear Link Families,

Welcome to the 2023 - 2024 school year at Link Elementary School! I hope each of you had a safe and fun summer with family and friends. We are excited to be back in the swing of things. We have worked hard to make sure this school year is exciting and rewarding. Our theme this year will be “The Butterfly Effect: Small Changes Make a Big Impact!” In 2022-23 our students showed academic growth in all grade levels and we will maintain and exceed that growth while we continue to make small changes to achieve maximum impact.

We have a lot of work to do this year to ensure our scholars meet their academic goals as we focus on building the whole child. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) will continue to be a big focus of our work and I hope that throughout the year, you as parents, will partner with us for the success of our students.

School hours have remained the same and doors will open daily beginning at 7:35 am. Instruction begins at 8:05 am and ends at 3:25 pm. Please ensure that your child does not arrive before 7:35 am as there will be no supervision for them before that time. If you need early morning care, please contact Koala Kare, which has a before and after-school program here on our campus. Breakfast will continue to be served in the classroom from 7:35 am to 8:05 am and will continue to be free for all students this school year. During breakfast, teachers will also engage our students in their social-emotional lessons for the day which will, in turn, give them a strong start to a great day of learning.
